Located on the campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County stands the new Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena. The venue officially opened its doors on Saturday, February 3rd for a sold-out UMBC Men’s Basketball game. The 5,000-seat arena is the home to the Retriever Men’s and Women’s basketball teams and women’s volleyball. The multi-purpose venue hosts a variety of events including commencements, concerts, family shows, trade shows, consumer shows, featured speakers, and banquets.
