The Singapore Sports Museum is the only sports-dedicated museum in Singapore, catering to the needs of the public, sports training academies as well as international sporting organizations.
At the Singapore Sports Museum, visitors can discover the multi-faceted development of sports and explore the sporting heritage of Singapore. It also ensures that the legacy and heritage of sports in Singapore are preserved well into the future. To promote sports knowledge and learning, the Singapore Sports Museum also features campus heritage, education and engagement programs, including learning journeys, museum tours, temporary exhibits, specialized seminars and educational talks.
To commemorate the hosting of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games (YOG), the Singapore Youth Olympic Museum (SYOM) is also located within the Singapore Sports Museum. It continues the Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee’s (SYOGOC) vision of “Inspiring Youths, Sporting Singapore” and serves to promote Olympism within the region.
