The 3,000-seat OCBC Aquatic Centre is a world-class facility that caters to both the general public and elite athletes. Additional temporary seating can expand the seating capacity to 6,000 seats, enabling it to host premier regional and international aquatic competitions and community-run events.

The pools meet Fédération Internationale de Natation (FINA) standards and are suitable for swimming, water-polo, diving and synchronized swimming events.

The OCBC Aquatic Centre was the host venue for the 28th SEA Games aquatics discipline and other various events such as the 5th FINA World Junior Swimming Championships 2015, FINA Diving Grand Prix and FINA Swimming World Cup.
