The Downsview Park complex is comprised of the Festival Terrace, the Circuit Path, and the Hangar Sport & Events Centre. The Festival Terrace is a 13.6-acre field formed into a grass amphitheater with areas for up to two stages. The site has been developed over the years to host large concerts with drainage and irrigation installed in the main grass bowl. A massive 115,000 square foot gravel stage pad has been built to accommodate some of the largest stages in the industry. Adjacent to this space is the paved 2.7km Circuit Path, which loops around Downsview Lake, orchard, meadow, and forests. It’s a great location to host events such as fun runs and walks. The Hangar Sport and Events Centre is a unique facility. This renovated 1950’s De Havilland airplane hangar formerly produced thousands of planes including Ansons, Tiger Moths, and the Mosquito Fighter Bomber. Today, the Hangar Sport and Events Centre is the go-to facility in the City of Toronto for field rentals, soccer leagues, and large community and cultural events.
