This year’s OVG Theater Alliance Benefit theme, Play with Purpose, brings the live entertainment community together for a night of gaming, friendly competition, a silent auction, and premium food and drink.
The event supports the Theater Alliance Fund, a collective of over 25 facilities dedicated to performing arts education, venue preservation, and access to the arts across the country.

Recognizing two leaders whose work has shaped live entertainment and strengthened the communities around it.
2026 HONOREE
Gayle Holcomb
A native of Mt. Airy, NC the real life “Mayberry” Gayle began her career as the receptionist of the Country Music Association in Nashville.
From there she moved to the William Morris Agency in 1984 where she was hired as a secretary. She was quickly promoted to an agent and has been with WMA/WME for over 4 decades. She is a past Chairman of the Academy of Country Music and founding member of Academy’s arm, Lifting Lives. She is a past recipient of the Crystal Milestone Award for her dedication to the ACM, Mae Boren Axton Award and recently a 2024 Pollstar Women of Live honoree.
Gayle is also recognized for her commitment to mentorship and relationship building across the industry.
2026 HONOREE
Colleen Fischer
Fischer has been a longtime leader in Austin’s live music community, helping guide ACL Live at The Moody Theater as one of the city’s premier music venues. Her career includes senior venue leadership, booking and programming roles, including her work with ACL Live and STG’s ACL Live, as well as prior experience with Live Nation and its predecessor companies.
