Employee Resource Groups

Oak View Group’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led networks that bring colleagues together around shared interests, lived experiences, and allyship. They create space for connection, mentorship, and professional growth, while helping to strengthen our culture across venues and offices. ERGs also play a key role in driving our social impact and community engagement goals, helping us stay closely connected to the communities we serve. They are a major part of what makes OVG a great place to work—amplifying employee voices, sparking new ideas, and deepening our impact across the business.
OVG Pride seeks to increase LBGTQIA+ cultural awareness in order to foster an environment of safety, inclusion, and respect for all employees. Through networking with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies, we enhance mutual support, and mentorship and support diversity and inclusion.

OVG Women’s Network empowers and supports women at all levels of the organization through mentorship, advocacy, and professional development. By fostering connections, hosting panels, and facilitating learning opportunities, we strengthen leadership, encourage growth, and promote equity across all roles.

OVG Black Oaks Network provides a supportive space for Black employees and allies to connect, grow, and celebrate Black culture. Through mentorship, education, and community collaboration, we champion racial equity, amplify voices, and strengthen our collective impact.

OVG Hispanic Latin Alliance celebrates the vibrant cultures and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx employees while advancing opportunities for connection and growth. Through cultural programming, networking, and youth partnerships, we foster pride, leadership, and community engagement.

OVG Asian Pacific Circle builds community among Asian and Pacific Islander employees and allies, advancing cultural awareness and professional growth. Through celebrations, educational events, and partnerships with local organizations, we promote understanding, inclusion, and connection across cultures.
OVG Veterans Connect honors and supports veterans and their families within our workforce by recognizing their unique experiences and skills. The Ascend program is Oak View Group’s early-talent initiative designed to support students from historically underrepresented backgrounds by partnering with institutions such as HBCUs, HSIs, and other mission-aligned schools. Through on-campus activations like career fairs, workshops, and networking events, students discover career pathways in sports, live entertainment, and hospitality while gaining not only skills, but also social capital to strengthen their professional networks.

Selected participants receive immersive, behind-the-scenes exposure at premier OVG events and venues—shadowing teams, contributing to real projects, and engaging in day-to-day operations. See below for an overview of Ascend’s core program features.

How Ascend works:  Full cycle early talent pipeline program

Engage HBCUs, HISs and other students through impactful on-campus activations like career fairs, workshops, and networking events that showcase opportunities in sports, entertainment, and hospitality.

Provide immersive career exposure by offering students behind-the-scenes access to live entertainment, sports, and venue management. Host career panels, networking mixers, and shadow opportunities during premier OVG events.

Hands-on industry experience through immersive projects and day-to-day exposure to venue operations, live entertainment, and corporate functions. Structured mentorship and professional development with industry leaders to build skills, confidence, and meaningful career connections. as well as a capstone project and showcase.
